Who is team Baatar Hero? We are a group of intrepid adventurers ready to take whatever the non-existent roads of Kazakhstan can dish out.
Why Baatar Hero? Our destination, Ulaan Baatar, means Red Hero in Mongolian. The capital was named after Sükhbaatar (Axe Hero! kick ass…), a respected revolutionary leader of Mongolia’s struggle for independence in 1921. We were stuck on either Ulaan Rouge (Red Red) or Baatar Hero (Hero Hero), and obviously chose the team name with the better logo. Note to other teams: feel free to borrow Ulaan Rouge for your own use.
